Gas stations in Mexico

If you look at the signs for gas stations in Mexico, you'll notice first they're all Pemex stations, since it's a state monopoly. You'll also notice that most of them are with full service. When you look more carefully, you'll also remark they don't display the price of the gas. Due to the monopoly, they don't need to advertise the price to prevent you to go to the competition. The prices for gas suffer very little variations all over Mexico because of that monopoly. I can tell you the price of one litre of gas is roughly at one US dollar right now (a bit less or a bit more, depending on quality).
