Today's postcard is not that funny... but it's amusing... and amazing. It's one of the most visited sites of San Francisco... and there's nothing to see except for cars going slowly down a hill :-) It's one block of the very long Lombard Street. In that tiny block of street, there are 8 changes of direction, all in tight needles, most of them leading to a garage entry (yes, there are people living there). On both sides, there are over 250 steps (the number is different for each side), without them the foot descent would be extremely dangerous. On Monday, I met with a couple from Québec who did the descent on motorcycles.
